The API is included with SIDRA INTERSECTION. A licensed installation is required even when you download the wrapper or sample projects separately.
C# and VB.NET use the late-binding wrapper with .NET 8 and x64. C++ uses the installed COM type library, and Python uses Python.NET to load the installed API assembly directly. C++ and Python do not need the late-binding wrapper. Follow the setup instructions for your language in Getting started.
Opening offline Help
Before opening the CHM file for the first time, right-click it, select Properties, then select the General tab. If an Unblock checkbox or button is shown, select it and apply the change. Otherwise, Help content may not display correctly.
Version compatibility¶
Match your API files and documentation to the SIDRA INTERSECTION version installed on your computer. The API is updated for each major product version, so your application may need changes when moving to a newer version.
Use the version selector in the header to choose an available documentation
release. The latest address follows the newest published release. See

downloads below are separate from the releases available in the selector.

SIDRA INTERSECTION 10 samples require 10.0.6.236 or later.
API Workshop 2018¶
This half-day workshop was held in Melbourne on 26 November 2018. It covered practical API use and integrations with Aimsun, EMME, DYNAMEQ and TRACKS. These materials are an archive, including examples for SIDRA INTERSECTION 8; they are not current Version 11 setup instructions.
